What you should know
Please note that all contracts are only between you and the company offering the service (e.g. a hotel, a car rental company). christian e. trede TRAVEL is only a travel broker and not a tour operator! German law applies between you and us.

German law does not allow us to book any "package tour" nor flights. Please understand that we cannot send out any general information material about the countries. Please refer to the Information Material section of this website.

This is how we work
After you got in contact with us through e.g. our Travel Network websites, we discuss your first ideas and wishes (e.g. regarding your travel budget), so that we can plan your individual "holiday of your dreams".

In the next step we will write down a first draft of a travel plan, including dates, ways, places and first ideas around accommodation and interesting safaris and tours. You will receive this first draft by eMail.

After you looked through the travel plan and discussed it with your fellow travel partners, we will speak again and maybe do necessary changes. Only now we will get in contact with accommodation establishments, safari companies, etc. in order to get their vacancy and availability as well as current prices. We will also do pre-bookings in your name in order to secure the safaris and hotels you want.

When prices and availabilities are confirmed (if a specific service is not available, we will search for alternatives) and you are satisfied, we will start the booking process. Most of the travel business need a pre-payment or credit card information to secure the booking. Generally within a few days we will get the confirmation from the different travel businesses.

Only when all accommodation, car rentals, safaris, etc. are cinfirmed, you will get your whole travel package (by ordinary mail or eMail) from us. This includes, e.g.:
- Original confirmation of the booked service or a Voucher from us;
- Contact information and a "how to find" description for every business

And in addition if you travel to Namibia (if available):
- An official map - your hotels, guesfarms, etc. will already be marked;
- An official travel guide of Namibia Tourism Board;
- The brochure "Namibia, Land of Contrasts " (in German only);
- A special edition of "Travel News Namibia" (in German only);
